ABOUT SEAN
Hi, I’m Sean Glumace, the photographer behind Ocean Liner Photography. Growing up in Southern California near the harbor, I spent countless hours exploring the Queen Mary in Long Beach. Her scale, history, and elegance sparked a fascination with ocean liners that has stayed with me ever since.
That fascination became part of my own travels. My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon aboard the Queen Elizabeth 2 during her 30th anniversary transatlantic voyage in 1999, and I sailed aboard Queen Mary 2 during her inaugural year in 2004. Since then, each voyage and visit to a port has offered another opportunity to photograph the ships I’ve admired for so long.
Through these photographs, I hope to share what makes each ship memorable—from her silhouette on the horizon to the details found on deck and inside. Ocean Liner Photography is my way of celebrating these vessels, the places they visit, and the stories that travel with them.
