Construction and Entry Into Service:
Seven Seas Splendor was built at Fincantieri’s Ancona shipyard and delivered to Regent Seven Seas Cruises on January 30, 2020.
She followed Seven Seas Explorer, introduced in 2016, as the second ship in the Explorer Class.
Her first official voyage departed Barcelona for Miami on February 6, 2020.
Supermodel and actress Christie Brinkley was selected as the ship’s godmother for her February 2020 christening in Miami.
