Construction and Launch:
Mein Schiff Flow was built by Fincantieri at its Monfalcone shipyard in northeastern Italy.
She is the second ship in TUI Cruises’ new InTUItion class and was constructed as the sister ship to Mein Schiff Relax.
The class marked the beginning of a new generation of vessels for TUI Cruises and represented the company’s first new ships constructed by Fincantieri.
Mein Schiff Flow was launched at Monfalcone on May 30, 2025.
Following her launch, construction continued with interior outfitting, installation of passenger spaces, and completion of technical systems.
Fincantieri designed the class with energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact as major priorities.
At approximately 160,000 gross tons, the InTUItion-class ships are considerably larger than the earlier generations of the Mein Schiff fleet.
Delivery and Entry Into Service:
Fincantieri delivered Mein Schiff Flow to TUI Cruises at Monfalcone on June 12, 2026.
Her delivery came approximately 16 months after sister ship Mein Schiff Relax was delivered in February 2025.
Mein Schiff Flow became the second completed vessel of the InTUItion class.
The ship entered service during the summer of 2026.

TUI Cruises is jointly owned by TUI AG and Royal Caribbean Cruises, and the InTUItion-class project represents one of the largest shipbuilding programs undertaken for the German cruise brand.
Design and Style:
Mein Schiff Flow was developed as part of a completely new ship design rather than an enlarged version of TUI Cruises’ earlier vessels.
The ship retains the wellness-oriented and spacious onboard concept associated with the Mein Schiff brand while introducing a new generation of public spaces and outdoor areas.
Extensive exterior decks were incorporated into the design to provide passengers with views of the sea and additional outdoor recreation and relaxation areas.
The ship’s stern is one of the most distinctive elements of her exterior profile, with terraces and passenger spaces extending toward the aft end of the vessel.
Large areas of glass are incorporated throughout the superstructure to bring natural light into interior spaces and maintain a visual connection with the sea.
At approximately 160,000 gross tons, the ship provides substantially more interior and exterior space than earlier generations of the Mein Schiff fleet.
Service:
Mein Schiff Flow entered service during the summer of 2026 following her June delivery from Fincantieri.
Her first season included Mediterranean cruising, bringing the newly delivered ship to ports throughout the region.
Civitavecchia, the principal cruise port serving Rome, was among the ports visited during her inaugural season.
The August 29, 2026 visit documented here occurred less than three months after the vessel was handed over to TUI Cruises.
Her early service marked the expansion of TUI Cruises’ InTUItion class to two ships following the introduction of Mein Schiff Relax the previous year.

Environmental and Technical Features:
Mein Schiff Flow was designed with dual-fuel engines capable of operating on liquefied natural gas (LNG) or marine gas oil.
Her propulsion system is also designed to accommodate lower-emission alternatives such as bio-LNG and e-LNG as those fuels become more widely available.
The ship is equipped with catalytic converters designed to meet Euro 6 emissions standards.
A steam turbine uses residual heat generated by the diesel engines, recovering energy that would otherwise be lost.
Shore-power capability allows the ship to connect to electrical power from land when compatible infrastructure is available.
Fincantieri states that the combination of these systems can enable nearly emission-free onboard operation while the ship is connected to shore power in port.
Approximately 40 percent of the ship’s operating time is expected to be spent in port, making shore-power capability an important part of the design.
An advanced waste-treatment system uses a thermal process to transform organic waste into recyclable components.
Energy efficiency was a central part of the InTUItion-class design, with the goal of reducing fuel consumption and the vessel’s overall environmental impact.

Mein Schiff Flow is the second member of the InTUItion class.
Sister ship Mein Schiff Relax was delivered by Fincantieri in February 2025.
The two ships introduced a new design direction for the Mein Schiff fleet and significantly increased the size of TUI Cruises’ newest vessels.
Both ships were constructed at Fincantieri’s Monfalcone shipyard.
The partnership between TUI Cruises and Fincantieri has since been expanded beyond the original two vessels.
In September 2025, Fincantieri and TUI Cruises signed a contract for two additional InTUItion-class ships.
Those sister ships are scheduled for delivery in 2031 and 2032.
