CARNIVAL ELATION
Carnival Elation (Carnival Cruise Line) was photographed in San Diego, California, on July 24, 2009, during the ship's period of West Coast service. We had previously traveled aboard Carnival Elation on a seven-night Mexican Riviera cruise in April 2002, giving the Fantasy-class ship a personal connection to our collection.
QUEEN ELIZABETH
In June 2022, we traveled aboard Queen Elizabeth (Cunard Line) on a seven-night roundtrip Alaska cruise from Vancouver, British Columbia. The voyage combined scenic cruising in Glacier Bay with visits to Icy Strait Point, Sitka, and Ketchikan before returning to Vancouver on July 1. This master gallery brings together our complete voyage aboard the third Cunard ship to carry the Queen Elizabeth name.
NORWEGIAN SPIRIT
The second half of our 16-night Fire & Ice cruise aboard Norwegian Spirit (Norwegian Cruise Line) began in Alaska on May 4, 2023, following five days crossing the Pacific from Hawaii. Days 11–17 included Icy Strait Point, Glacier Bay, Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan before the voyage concluded in Vancouver, British Columbia.
NORWEGIAN SPIRIT
The first half of our 16-night Fire & Ice cruise aboard Norwegian Spirit (Norwegian Cruise Line) began in Honolulu on April 24, 2023. After visiting Kona, Kauai, Maui and Hilo, the voyage continued with five days across the Pacific toward Alaska, creating a dramatic transition from the Hawaiian Islands to the northern portion of the cruise.
QUEEN MARY 2
On Day 6 of our July 2004 Northern Europe cruise, Queen Mary 2 (Cunard Line) visited Ålesund, Norway, on July 16 during the ocean liner's inaugural year. Arriving after the previous day's visits to Hellesylt and Geiranger, the call continued Queen Mary 2's first voyage through Norway and placed Cunard's new flagship against Ålesund's distinctive island and mountain setting.
PEARL SEAWAYS
On July 23, 2022, we boarded the Pearl Seaways (DFDS Seaways) to Oslo, Norway in the vibrant port of Copenhagen, Denmark, under a clear blue sky. This robust cruiseferry, serving as a vital link between Denmark and Norway, stood ready for its next journey.
QUEEN MARY 2
On Day 5 of our July 2004 Northern Europe cruise, Queen Mary 2 (Cunard Line) made her first visit to Norway, calling at Hellesylt before continuing through Geirangerfjord to Geiranger on July 15. The inaugural-year visit placed the new ocean liner among the steep mountains and waterfalls of the Norwegian fjords, where Marco Polo (Orient Lines) was also anchored at Geiranger.
QUEEN MARY 2
Queen Mary 2 (Cunard) entered Long Beach Harbor on February 23, 2006, for her historic first meeting with RMS Queen Mary. Thousands gathered around the harbor and hundreds of boats took to the water as Cunard’s modern flagship approached her legendary namesake, bringing together two generations of transatlantic ocean liners during Queen Mary 2’s first visit to the U.S. West Coast.
QUEEN ELIZABETH 2
Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth 2 arrived in Los Angeles on January 23, 2006, during her annual World Cruise. Illuminated at Berth 93 that evening, the legendary ocean liner was nearly 37 years into her Cunard career and less than three years from retirement, yet still making long-distance voyages around the world.
QUEEN MARY 2
On Day 3 of our July 2004 Northern Europe cruise, Queen Mary 2 (Cunard Line) anchored off South Queensferry on July 13 during her inaugural year. Positioned in the Firth of Forth near the historic Forth Bridge, the call provided access to Edinburgh while offering distinctive views of Cunard's new flagship against one of Scotland's best-known maritime and engineering landscapes.

VIKING SERENADE
In January 2001, we sailed aboard Viking Serenade (Royal Caribbean International) on a three-day cruise from Los Angeles to Ensenada, Baja California. These photographs show the ship docked during our visit, toward the end of her years operating short cruises from Southern California.
