On August 1, 2024, the Seven Seas Splendor, a luxurious cruise ship operated by Regent Seven Seas Cruises, was majestically docked in Bergen, Norway. Known for its elegance and sophisticated design, the Seven Seas Splendor offers an unparalleled cruising experience with all-inclusive amenities and exquisite accommodations.
MT CALIFORNIA
In the summer of 2024, my son, a Cal Maritime cadet, had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience during his commercial cruise aboard the MT California, a crude oil tanker owned by Crowley Alaska Tankers.
RMS QUEEN MARY - 1964 TICKETS & MORE
A collection of ocean liner ephemera, including tickets and daily programs, from a transatlantic crossing aboard the RMS Queen Mary in September 1964. My friend, jazz musician Alan Rowe, commenced his crossing on September 10th at 2:00 PM from Southampton to New York City.
QUEEN ELIZABETH
From June 24 to July 1 2022, the Queen Elizabeth (Cunard Line) embarked on a scenic journey from Vancouver, British Columbia, to Alaska, capturing the raw beauty and majesty of the northern landscapes.
TS GOLDEN BEAR
On July 7, 2023, the TS Golden Bear (Cal Maritime) returned from the 2023 Cal Maritime Summer Cruise, marking the end of an over 60-day journey that included stops in Los Angeles, Cabo San Lucas, Samoa, Hawaii, and Oregon, before returning to Vallejo. My son was on board for his first training cruise as a student at California State University Maritime Academy.

On July 2, 2022, the Koningsdam, a proud member of the Holland America Line fleet, was majestically docked at the Canada Place Cruise Ship Terminal in Vancouver, British Columbia. This impressive Pinnacle-class vessel, known for its modern amenities and luxurious design, stood elegantly against the picturesque backdrop of Vancouver’s skyline.
NORWEGIAN SPIRIT
Embark on a photographic journey aboard the Norwegian Spirit (Norwegian Cruise Line) from the tropical warmth of Hawaii to the icy vistas of Alaska. On July 15, 2004 during an 11 day Baltic and Northern European cruise we were on the RMS Queen Mary 2 (Cunard Line) made a memorable inaugural visit on July 15 to Ålesund, Norway, where the city greeted the ship early in the morning to celebrate her first arrival.

On July 15, 2004, the serene waters of Geirangerfjord in Norway served as a magnificent setting for the RMS Queen Mary 2 (Cunard Line). This majestic liner, surrounded by the towering cliffs and lush greenery of Geiranger, was captured in a series of photographs showcasing the dramatic scale of the fjords and the elegance of the ship.

On August 22, 2010, the Carnival Splendor (Carnival Cruise Line) was captured in the early morning light just outside Long Beach Harbor, CA, as it returned from a vibrant cruise to Mexico.
